Who we are
One Hit Wonder is the shared brand of three Washington corporations. Each one is responsible for the information it collects:

In this notice, “One Hit Wonder,” “we,” “us” and “our” mean whichever of these companies you deal with. The notice covers:
- our stores in Port Townsend and Silverdale;
- onehitwondercannabis.com, including its online menus, rewards sign-up and contact form;
- onehitwonderremix.com and the merch shop on onehitwondercannabis.com; and
- texts and emails we send you.
Together we call these the “Services.” By using the Services you agree to this notice. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
Information we collect
“Personal information” means information that identifies you, such as your name, email, phone number or date of birth. Other information about your visit that does not identify you is “non-personal information.”
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, email, optional phone number, which shop you are writing to, and your message.
- Rewards and text club: your name, phone number, email, date of birth, address and the shop you joined at, collected through our rewards provider when you sign up online or in store.
- Online orders: the name, phone number and email you give when you place an order ahead through our online menu, and the items you order.
- Merch orders: your name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number and order details, entered at Shopify checkout. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Messages: emails, texts and calls you send us, and your replies to any survey.
Information we collect in our stores
- ID check: Washington law requires us to check that every customer is 21 or older. We look at your ID to confirm your age. We do not keep ID information, except that if you sign up for rewards in store, we take your name, date of birth and address from your ID.
- Medical recognition card: if you buy as a medical patient, we check your recognition card and the state medical authorization database, as the law requires. See “Medical patients” below.
- Purchases: the products you buy, when and at which shop, linked to your rewards account if you have one.
- Security cameras: our stores are recorded on video, as Washington cannabis rules require.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our websites, our hosting provider and the services built into the site may record:
- your IP address and the type of browser and device you use;
- the pages you visit, the date and time, and the site that sent you to us; and
- small files called cookies, and similar browser storage, used to remember that you passed the age check, to run the menus and the shopping cart, and to keep the site fast and secure.
How we use information
We use information to:
- check age and medical eligibility, and keep the records Washington cannabis law requires;
- fill your in-store and online orders, and ship merch orders;
- run our rewards program, including points, discounts and birthday offers;
- answer your messages and contact-form requests;
- send texts and emails you have agreed to receive;
- run, secure and improve our websites;
- prevent fraud and protect our customers, staff and stores;
- meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations, and enforce our rights; and
- for any other purpose we tell you about when you give us the information, or with your consent.
We keep information only as long as we need it for these purposes, or longer where the law requires it (for example, cannabis sales and tax records).
Services we use
These companies help us run the Services. Each handles your information under its own privacy policy, and only for the job we use it for:

When you open an online menu, place an order, or check out for merch, you are using that provider’s service, and its privacy policy also applies. Merch purchases are also covered by the privacy policy posted on onehitwonderremix.com. Our websites also link to other sites, such as social media and Google Maps. We are not responsible for how those sites handle information.
Medical patients
Both of our shops hold a Washington medical cannabis endorsement. If you shop as a medical patient, we handle these items:
- your recognition card details and your entry in the state medical authorization database;
- the products you buy as a patient, including tax-exempt purchases of DOH-certified products; and
- anything you tell our medical consultant to help choose products.
We use this information only to serve you as a patient, apply the right tax treatment and meet state record-keeping rules. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Texts and emails
We send marketing texts and emails only to people who agreed to receive them, for example by joining our rewards program or text club. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Texts: reply STOP to any text to stop marketing texts, or HELP for help.
- Email: click “unsubscribe” in any marketing email.
We do not share your phone number or text opt-in with other companies for their own marketing. If you opt out, we may still contact you about an order, your rewards account or a question you asked us.
Sharing, security and cookies
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- among the three One Hit Wonder companies, where needed to serve you (for example, one rewards program across both shops);
- with the service providers listed above, to do their job for us;
- with the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board, Department of Health, Department of Revenue or other authorities when the law requires, or to answer a court order or other legal process;
- to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, staff, stores or others;
- with a buyer or successor if a business, or its assets, is sold or reorganized; and
- with your consent.
Security. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information from loss and misuse. No website or system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee it.
Cookies and Do Not Track. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the age check, menus and cart may not work. Our websites do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
Age, your choices and contact
Age. Our cannabis websites and stores are for adults 21 and older. The merch store is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21 through our cannabis Services. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
Your choices. You can choose not to give us information, but some Services may then not work, such as orders and rewards. To ask what information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, contact us below. We will respond as the law requires. We may need to keep some records that cannabis or tax law requires.
California residents. California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code § 1798.83) lets California residents ask what personal information we shared with third parties for their direct marketing. We do not share it for that purpose. You can still send a request to the contact below.
Changes. We may update this notice. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the Services after a change, you accept the updated notice.
